I will join other winners of the Green Heron Poetry Project on Sunday, September 13 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. for an event, “Hope in the River: Celebrating the Return of the Green Heron.” In addition to a poetry reading, performers will include Tannis Kowalchuk, Tom Holmes, Kazzrie Jaxen and the Upper Delaware Writers Collective. Congregate on the PA side of the Roebling Bridge in Lackawaxen, PA to parade across the bridge to the Roebling View for poetry, music and dance.
“That Green Heron Thing” will be performed at Beaver Brook Cottage in Narrowsburg, NY and will be the culminating event in The Green Heron Poetry Project on Saturday, October 24 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
